Plot: As Tok Kong and Dollah’s kids have grown up into teenagers, the fifth season centers on the pangs of teen-hood: ranging from Rafi and Xiao Yun having a Romeo and Juliet type romance, to Xiao Long struggling with his identity as a young man (as he meddles with the dream of becoming an Olympics Synchronized Swimming competitor to becoming a ruthless thug who saves the whole family from a kidnapper at the end of the season). Is Xiao Long actually more alike with his father than first expected? There are shake-ups to the usual routine for the two families, like an alien invasion in Toa Payoh, Tok Kong and family upgrading to a condo, Dollah and Tok Kong investigating a phantom, an underground operation crack down an illegal beauty cream operation
