Plot: Shot in locations such as the Cultural Revolution set at Zhenbeibao Western Film Studio and the Imperial German Qingdao, three abstract layered vignettes detail the filmmaker's grandfather’s covert role as a Chinese spy during WWII and the experiences of three generations of women in his family during China’s Cultural Revolution.
