Plot: Rui Esteves is a thirty-something provincial doctor, praised for his human qualities towards the elderly and needy in a village where loneliness and abandonment are as much or more of a problem than illness and disease. When a controversial revelation exposes him as an impostor, Rui is removed from his position and forced to relive a past of pain and alcohol dependence
