Plot: Anthropologist Ernesto De Martino in “Il Mondo Magico” traces an analysis of what he referred to as "subaltern popular world", that is, those social realities that were marked by the strong presence of a whole series of practical and pragmatic methods, handed down from generation to generation (from word of mouth to actual rituals), which were performed by people so that it would be easier to deal with everything that presented itself as uncontrollable and unknown, identified as “the loss of being-there”.
