Plot: Peihong, a Chinese immigrant living in a cramped Chinatown apartment, is waiting on a long-delayed citizenship decision so she can sponsor her young daughter’s move to the US. When a new neighbor—a man she learns is undocumented—moves in and a tense misunderstanding leads her to suspect him of illicit activities, she fears any association could endanger her case
