Bio: Pyotr Konstantinovich Leshchenko (2 June 1898 Isaevo, Odessa uezd, Kherson Governorate, Russian Empire – 16 July 1954 Bucharest), a singer in the Russian Empire, and later Romania, is universally considered "the King of Russian Tango"[1] and specifically known for his rendition of "Serdtse"-a European tango, sung in Russian.
