Darrin Navarro
Bio: Darrin Navarro, ACE, began his film career in the late 1980s, working as an assistant editor on low-budget exploitation films for independent producers such as Roger Corman and Fred Olen Ray before finding work at the major studios on pictures like Sam Raimi’s Darkman (1990) and Peter Bogdanovich’s The Thing Called Love (1993). In 1995, he assisted on William Friedkin’s Jade, which began a nearly three-decade relationship with the Oscar-winning filmmaker, eventually editing Friedkin’s late-career masterworks, Bug (2005), Killer Joe (2011), and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial (2023)
