Yves Ballu
Bio: Yves Ballu, born in February 1943, is a French mountaineer, writer, and mountain historian who has established himself as one of the leading figures in contemporary mountaineering literature. A Doctor of Science and physicist by training, he pursued a career at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), where he notably served as Director of Communications, while simultaneously developing a substantial body of literary work devoted to the history of mountaineering and mountain culture
