Bio: ETA is a nonbinary, 1st-generation Vietnamese-American filmmaker and educator whose storytelling is deeply rooted in their heritage as the child of refugees from the American War in Vietnam and culturally relevant, trauma-informed teaching background. Their genre-fluid work includes the gentrification horror short, “White Gaze”, which has played in film festivals around the world, winning FICIMAD’s Best Horror Film, Film Invasion LA’s Grand Jury Award, and Best Director at Arthouse Film Festival and New York Odyssey Film Festival, among others
