Aickin began his career in the mid-2000s at Framestore CFC, where he contributed as a compositor and digital artist on major studio releases such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), Superman Returns (2006), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), and The Golden Compass (2007)
